A few days ago that, the Court of Justice of the Republic opened the file on Charles Pasqua, a Feliciaggi and the famous casino in Annemasse. The case is simple but not easy to manage, the former minister Charles Pasqua has authorized the opening of the casino from Annemasse to an alleged “thief” who knew Robert Feliciaggi make a fortune in the Congo.
However, the casino issue, bought about 5 million francs at the time, did not respect the rules of implementation (there are already too many casinos in the region) and two partners who bought the casino was not clear to the French authority.Despite these two major limitations, the former Minister accepts the transaction, despite the risks.
Several years passed and the Annemasse casino was sold to over 100 million francs, despite disagreements with the French authorities. Following this event, the daughter of Feliciaggi, has kindly offered the sum of 7.5 million francs for the European campaign of the former Minister Pasqua.
It was at this time that the file was created. In 2007, the case has been spilled ink, and Charles Pasqua has been convicted several times after that unfortunate incident.
Today, Mr. Pasqua is faced with six deputies and six senators who composed the Court of Justice of the Republic. He compared to “passive corruption” following the “Yes” categorical opening the casino in Annemasse.
It is for this reason that the judges have made a relationship between the amount paid by the daughter of Feliciaggi and validation of the casino during the year 1994. Charles Pasqua, denies the affair and seems quite at ease with major trial. The former minister points to the fact he wanted to be a candidate in the 2000 elections and that the case had been plotting to kill him in this election so important.
We have the results of this trial in early May despite the immunity granted by Charles Pasqua, who enable him, if he is guilty of an appeal.
