After fighting with the guards of the hotel, the criminals have managed to reach the room where the tournament took place and it triggered a total panic. Several days after the tragedy, one of four thugs went to the Berlin police with his lawyer. It has denounced his three accomplices. This left three men on the run. The first was arrested two days later.
The two robbers were last seen at the airport Tegel in the heart of Berlin. Right away, stopped and arrested by the police, two thugs came back to Istanbul for one, and Beirut for the other. The mare ends reasonably well since the 240,000 euros have been recovered. Following this tragic accident, which caused no major injury, the security will be challenged. Especially when the players were “cooled” after the robbery.
