Betfair Poker has this week announced that it will be upgrading to Betfair Poker 2 later this summer. Through a new partnership with OnGame, the world’s 6th largest online poker network (according to PokerScout) the traditional sports betting exchange has radically overhauled and upgraded its poker offering.
Betfair boasts that this upgrade will enable them to offer more tournaments, more liquidity, bigger prize pools, and a larger game selection, keeping Betfair Poker on the cutting edge of online poker and offering all of its users the “ultimate poker experience”
Betfair has outlined some of the key features of the new product as:
• Enhanced client software
• Larger player pools
• Bigger prize pools – $13 million in guaranteed tournaments every month
• New games – including Omaha hi/lo, 7-Card Stud and 5-Card Draw
• Betfair Players’ Club loyalty program
• Mac compatible download client
Last year Betfair teamed up with Playtech for their casino product and are currently offering exclusive arcade games found nowhere else on the web. As a company they are at the cutting edge of technology and offer their customers a world class suite of games to choose from.
